Recovering, wrapping, prepping and packing

Wrapped TMH last weekend and start P10 next weekend. My apartment looks like a tornado hit it with set dressing, schedules, props, and scripts strewn about. I keep procrastinating all the things I need to be doing like laundry, packing for a month of suitcase living, and cleaning the path left by said tornado before I hit the road and head North.

TMH was an amazing-fun-filled-sweaty-sticky-summer production with a stellar crew. I miss them already.
Shooting downtown is always exciting - chalk full of crazy characters. This day a drunk "tripped" on our cables and two fire trucks came to his rescue.
My pride and joy. Such a great location to work with
Another hot sweaty cramped office shoot

Nothing like shooting outside on pavement in the valley...
I was a dirty greasy mess from moving tires and car parts around all day as set dressing. +
The only shade on set.
Mmm beach shoot day, a breeze at last yay Malibu.
Really we shot this in Idaho I just designed the hell out of it :)

All night shoots always a blur

My apartment has become our movies Art Office/Studio

We start shooting in 2 days on my current feature. Most of my fourth was spent making fake vinyl lettering for a magazine office set with an exacto knife, spray paint, and various kinds of paper. After about 10 tries I think I nailed it. Gotta love low budget filmmaking...

Spray Paint station in the kitchen...

     Drying Station, everywhere else...

Bookshelves  and living room converted to Prop/Set Dec staging...

Testing out my homemade letter and number decals...

Lots of precise cutting left to do...
